Area construction/restoration company based in Hockessin, DE seeking skilled and EXPERIENCED Carpenters and laborers for field crews. Job sites are throughout Chester County, must have personal and reliable transportation. Minimum 5 years experience. Must provide own tools.
This is a full-time, sub-contractor based position. All company policies apply to this position such as Attendance, Incentive Programs and 90 day probationary period. Minimum compensation is $18/hour, commiserate with experience.

Key Requirements &
Responsibilities:
1. Minimum of 10 years of construction carpentry experience.
2. Knowledge of cladding, finish work, flooring, roofing, and all around understanding of construction.
3. Attention to detail.
4. Provide tools required on Sub-Contractor tool list (provided at interview, if granted).
5. Understand and follow through with orders/tasks.
6. Under general supervision, perform journey-level work in the design, construction, repair of interior and exterior structures (such as window frames) made of wood, drywall, plaster, concrete or brick.
7. Carpenter is responsible for the full range of rough and finished skilled carpentry work, including (but not limited to) framing, WRB, window & door installation and trim work.
8. Incumbents work from, specifications, drawings and instructions to remodel, retrofit, maintain and repair structures.
9. Inspect completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations.
10. Estimate time and materials for carpentry projects.
11. Graduation from high school and/or trade school apprenticeship program.
12. Must possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
13. Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (75 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.
14. Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades.
15. Must be able to tolerate exposure to electrical hazards as well as environmental hazards such as molds and various solvents.
16. Must have good attitude, habits and communication skills.
17. Must adhere to all ARRC policies regarding attendance, breaks, dress code, materials, incentive programs, etc.
Summary:
Carpenter is a front-line labor position. A Carpenter must possess extensive knowledge of the trade and the work involved, along with an ability to resolve problems collaboratively with the Foreman and General Manager, if necessary. A Carpenter's responsibilities are to provide exceptional quality of workmanship, training where appropriate and communication with the Foreman to maintain budgeted job flow and timeline.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
